Mom and baby action network

With your participation, we can make an impact together

The U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color. Together, we can change that. Your participation in any of our campaigns or initiatives is essential to helping every family have healthy pregnancies and strong babies.

Be an Ambassador

Our campaign to advocate for health equity impacting moms and babies

Every family deserves the best possible start, but barriers to care persist across our communities. Join us in urging Congress to prioritize the health of moms and babies. We’re focused on three areas that supports this:

Equity – Eliminating racial and ethnic health disparities by focusing on prevention, treatment and social determinants of health to improve birth outcomes.

Access – Improving unequal access to health care, which contributes to the maternal and infant health crisis.

Prevention – Expanding research and data collection on maternal mortality and morbidity to address preventable health conditions.

It Starts With Mom

Mom and baby action network

Our campaign to give moms and moms-to-be the information they need to be better prepared for pregnancy

Even if it’s not their first baby, new parents are constantly learning things about parenthood for the very first time. And while the milestones of parenthood aren’t always acknowledged in the same way they are for children, It Starts With Mom aims to celebrate them before, during and after the month of May. Make a donation and help moms, moms-to-be and pregnant people get the latest information and resources for every stage of pregnancy.

Vaccine awareness campaign

Discovery Grants

Addressing the health equity gap in vaccines for families

Many children in the U.S. don't have access to routine, recommended vaccines. You can help #ClosetheVaxGap by providing information that educates moms on routine vaccines and where they can get them, enlisting local and trusted voices within the community and advocating for equitable vaccine access for all families.

One day to make a big impact for families

Donations make it all work.  Save the date for these annual events to be a part of a collective fundraising campaign to support the health of every family.
