The Greenville Real Estate Award pays tribute to a member of the real estate & economic development community who has shown outstanding leadership, vision, & a long history of service to the community. The event is a dynamic celebration of with networking, speeches, and a compelling appeal to support the mission of the March of Dimes.

The 2021 Real Estate Award recipient is Tammy Propst of TAG by Cherry Bekaert.
 

 

Our 2021 Honoree

Join us as we honor Tammy Propst, Managing Director of Tax Advantage Group by Cherry Bekaert, for her many economic development contributions in the Greenville community. Since 2004, Tammy has structured and deployed $1.4 billion in New Market Tax Credits (NMTC) to projects across the United States, including $277 million for its affiliate - The Innovate Fund - throughout South Carolina.  TAG's activity has supported the creation and retention of 24,000 jobs and 8.8 million sq. ft. of new and improved real estate. Its community facility activities serve nearly 350,000 Low-income People and Low-income Community residents. 

Local projects that have benefitted from The Innovate Fund's NMTC investments include McBee Station, The Children's Museum of the Upstate, NEXT Innovation Center, RiverWalk, Project ONE, Leacy Early College, Poe West, and most recently Judson Mill. 


The Greenville Real Estate & Economi Development Award honors those outstanding individuals or companies whose commercial real estate activities and civic service have significantly enhanced the local community.

Rising Star

The March of Dimes Rising Star Award will be presented to a recipient who has shown exemplary achievements and demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments within  the commercial real estate industry (public, private, economic dev, professional services,etc).

Nominees should be 40 yrs. or under and exhibit outstanding leadership, professional competence, community involvement, and ambition.

Development of the Year
The March of Dimes Development of the Year Award will be presented to a new development or re-development/adaptive reuse project that significantly enhances the community. This project should be located within Greenville County and have project completion as of August 31, 2021.

Nominations for both award categories will be accepted through October 15, 2021. The award will be presented at the March of Dimes Real Estate & Economic Development Award Event on November 16, 2021.
